Bayburt Governor Hasan İpek Visits Koral Mining Facilities

Bayburt Governor Hasan İpek conducted an official inspection at Koral Mining Inc. (Koral Madencilik A.Ş.), located within the Bayburt Organized Industrial Zone (OSB).

Governor İpek visited Koral Mining, a company that has recently set its sights on new horizons with significant breakthroughs in the natural stone and marble sector, successfully making a name for itself and attracting attention in both domestic and international markets.

Upon arriving at the industrial zone to examine the Koral Mining facilities—a prominent enterprise owned by Alaattin Koral where Bayburt stone is masterfully transformed into art—Governor İpek was personally welcomed by the company owner.

While touring the production facility together, Governor Hasan İpek was thoroughly briefed on the unique characteristics of Bayburt stone by Alaattin Koral.

Koral highlighted that the largest stone reserves in the region are located in Bayburt. He noted their active participation in natural stone and marble exhibitions across various provinces in Turkey, emphasizing the highly positive feedback Bayburt Stone consistently receives at these events. Furthermore, Koral stated that they have successfully expanded their product range thanks to their newly integrated stone processing machinery.

Concluding his remarks, Koral affirmed that their dedicated efforts continue unceasingly to optimally promote Bayburt Stone—which has become the most significant symbol of the city—by expanding its domestic market presence and accelerating international exports.
